Export to a custom format

Export to a custom format is used for the possibility of creating content in simple CMS on files or for export to the desired (individual) for the user format.

The window is consisting of template manager and two tabs: "Articles and categories" and "Menu".

With the project manager should be all clear, so let’s go directly to the tabs:

Tab Articles and categories

This tab is used to configure the properties of the template files and settings for creating posts and categories. Fill into the editor the template of file in which you want to export. In place of the key values fill specific variables that will be replaced with the corresponding values after the export. The value of options:

• Profile Name - Names for the active profile;

• UTF-8 - to save in the UTF-8

• The type of saving articles

• Each article in a separate file - each article will be saved in a separate file, which will be named after an article in transliteration. If necessary, the correct hierarchy of folders will be created and added to the list of articles in the category;

• All articles in one file - all articles in one file are separated by the specified delimiter;

• Save pictures to the folder - the folder for the pictures;

• Illegal characters in ALT_NAME - list of characters that may not be used in file names;

• Replace - to replace the illegal characters;

• Template file name - the template for creating names of files (only for saving in separate files). List of used macros in the context menu

• Link template - template by which to create links to pages. List of used macros in the context menu

Tab Menu

This tab is responsible for the formation of files in menu, if needed.

As in the first case there is The template editor, in which specific variables and will be later replaced on right. Only two options indicated: the name and format of the output file.
